How to Look After Eyelash Extensions Day to Day

The first 24 hours matter most, and a few small habits keep your lashes full for the whole cycle.

Extensions are bonded to your natural lashes, so anything that weakens the bond shortens their life.

Keep them dry for the first day

Avoid water, steam and saunas for 24 hours while the adhesive cures. After that, wash them gently with a lash foam and a soft brush, then dry with a cool hairdryer on low.

Skip oil based products

Oil breaks down the adhesive. Check your cleanser, eye cream and makeup remover, and switch to water based formulas around the eyes.

Be gentle

Do not rub your eyes, sleep face down, or use a traditional eyelash curler. Brush the lashes with a clean spoolie each morning to keep them tidy.

Keep to the infill schedule

A refill every two to three weeks keeps the set balanced, because lashes naturally shed in a cycle. Waiting longer usually means a full new set instead of a quick top up.
